1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TradingGranth ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Educational Use Only

TradingGranth is an educational trade journaling tool only. All content, analytics, insights, reports, and data on this Platform are for simulation, self-reflection, and learning purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice.

TradingGranth is not registered with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) or any other financial regulatory authority. We do not provide recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, or financial instrument.

3. No Liability for Trading Losses

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Trading in financial markets involves substantial risk of loss.
  • TradingGranth is not responsible for any financial losses you incur while trading.
  • Past performance shown or tracked on the Platform is not indicative of future results.
  • Any decisions you make based on data entered into or generated by this Platform are entirely your own responsibility.
  • TradingGranth, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential.
  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Platform.
  • Not use the Platform to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.

5. Account & Data

You own the trade data you enter into TradingGranth. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We retain data as necessary to provide the service and comply with applicable laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

TradingGranth offers subscription plans (Free, PRO, ELITE, DESK) billed monthly or annually via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable plan fees.

Refund Policy: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as stated below:

  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge date with your transaction ID.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Partial refunds for unused subscription periods are not provided.
  • Free trial periods are not refundable — they are provided at no charge.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your plan features until the period ends. To cancel, contact us or use the account settings in the Platform.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

7. AI-Powered Trade Review — Important Disclaimer

TradingGranth offers an AI Trade Review feature that uses artificial intelligence to analyse your historical trade data and provide educational feedback. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree:

  • Educational Purpose Only: All AI-generated analysis is strictly for educational and self-improvement purposes. It does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, or any recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any securities or financial instruments.
  • Not SEBI Registered: TradingGranth is not registered with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) or any other regulatory body as an investment advisor. AI reviews are not advisory services under any applicable law.
  • Past Data Only: AI reviews are based solely on historical trade data you have already uploaded to TradingGranth. The AI does not access real-time market data, predict future prices, or guarantee any future trading outcomes.
  • Third-Party Data Processing: To generate AI reviews, your trade data (entry/exit price, timing, P&L, symbols, holding duration) is processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic / Claude). By requesting an AI review, you explicitly consent to this processing. Only anonymised trade data is transmitted — your name, email, and personal identity are never shared with the AI provider.
  • Non-Refundable: AI review charges are non-refundable once processing begins, as computational resources are consumed regardless of output quality. If processing fails due to a platform error, a credit will be issued.
  • No Accuracy Guarantee: AI analysis may be incomplete, incorrect, or inapplicable to your specific situation. Always exercise your own judgement. TradingGranth accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated review content.

8. Backtesting & Simulated Results — Disclaimer

TradingGranth provides backtesting tools that allow you to replay historical market data against your trading rules and strategies. By using these tools, you acknowledge and agree:

  • Simulated Results Only: All backtesting results are hypothetical and simulated. They do not represent actual trading outcomes. Past simulated performance is not indicative of future real-world results.
  • Informational Purpose Only: Backtesting features are provided solely for educational and self-analysis purposes. Results must not be interpreted as financial advice, a trading recommendation, or a guarantee of future profitability.
  • Data Accuracy Not Guaranteed: Historical candle data (OHLCV) displayed in the backtesting tool is sourced from third-party data providers (including but not limited to Dhan, Binance, Yahoo Finance, and Twelve Data). TradingGranth does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Gaps, adjustments, or errors in source data will affect simulated results.
  • No Liability: TradingGranth, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any decisions, losses, or damages arising from reliance on backtesting results or simulated performance statistics shown on the Platform.
  • Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying any backtesting output before making real-money trading decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor.

9. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, design, logos, software, and features are the intellectual property of TradingGranth. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written permission. Your trade data remains yours; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account deletion settings.

11. Disputes & Governing Law

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform, the parties shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause above, any litigation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
